Retina Fellows Forum Research Award

This award is presented for outstanding original research by a senior fellow. The winner will be invited to present their work as a specially recognized paper at the 44th Annual ASRS Meeting, July 15-18, 2026, in Montreal, Canada. This award includes complimentary meeting registration, a guaranteed podium presentation, and an unrestricted $1,500 travel grant. The winner will be announced at the 26th Annual Retina Fellows Forum Meeting.

GUIDELINES

  • Submissions must be manuscripts, NOT abstracts
  • Submissions must represent material that has not been previously presented at a major meeting
  • Research should be of obvious clinical relevance
  • Submitting fellow must be first author
  • Work must not be previously published
  • Submission must be sent to fellowsforum@medconfs.com no later than January 12, 2026 to be considered

The Foundation of the ASRS Award

This award is presented by the Foundation of the ASRS to a randomly selected fellow in attendance at the 26th Annual Retina Fellows Forum Meeting. This award includes a $2,000 travel grant to attend the 44th Annual ASRS Meeting, July 15-18, 2026, in Montreal, Canada. The winner must be present at the bowling tournament on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

Case Presentations

Retina Fellows Forum is accepting case submissions for consideration on the program.

For those who are interested, plan to submit up to a 150-word summary describing the case. A formal abstract is not necessary nor preferred.

You must complete your meeting registration to receive instructions on how to submit a case for consideration on the program. Once received, please complete the brief application in one sitting no later than 11:59 PM ET on November 24, 2025. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by December 10, 2025. This deadline has passed.
