ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The American Uveitis Society (AUS) is the nation’s leading subspecialty society devoted to ocular inflammatory diseases. The 28th Annual Winter Symposium, open to members and non-members of the AUS, is a highly interactive scientific meeting that attracts uveitis and retina key opinion leaders and trainees in clinical practice, basic research, and translational research. The overarching goal of the meeting is to provide a forum for the exchange of new information and ideas relevant to clinical practice and scientific investigation of patients with complex infectious and inflammatory ocular diseases.
The symposium will bring together over 110 academic uveitis and retina specialists, and fellows-in-training. The two main scientific sessions are Molecular Diagnostics in Ophthalmic and Systemic Inflammatory/Infectious Disease and Imaging Biomarkers in Uveitis and Multiple Sclerosis, each of which include a stellar faculty.
The scientific program includes time for cases and free papers to be presented by attendees. We invite all attendees to submit a case or free paper, during the registration process, for consideration on the program. Submissions are due no later than Monday, September 16, 2024.
